Hypercycles at the golf course

Wondering if anybody here golfed. If so perhaps we could plan something here in the near future. Has anyone played out at North Island Naval Station? Beautiful course and I could get us in for cheap. Chime in!
PS. and even if you don't golf we still need people to drive the carts and drink the brewhaha :cool:

Still need to get the head put back on my pitching wedge...that's always embarassing when your clubs start falling apart on the course.

How bout some Disc Golf? You guys ever played? I go with JiggaMan every once in a while and Tech and Nic the other day. It's fun and damn cheap too:headbang:

It's like golf except you use frisbees (Discs) and the holes are in the form of 4 foot tall pole with a basket and chains. It's like 2 bucks to play 19 holes, perfect for us broke mofos.

AKA: Frisbee Golf

It's like golf....but you throw a frisbee until you hit a post.

I used to play a bunch over at UCSD....but I suck worse at frisbee golf than at regular golf.

There's an actual Frisbee Golf place?! Wacky....why go there when you can play for free at a park?

i dunno, it's fun. They have cemented areas where you drive from (what's that called?), the pins are changed every week or so to keep it interesting, scorecards so that Sean can show everyone he lost, and so on.

I don't know about real golf but I'm pretty sure it's a lot more than 2 bucks.

You should try and find an empty school or park and play for free.

Actually, I think most disc golf fields are free.

check out the list of excuses on the link. hehe. You guys may be able to use some of those:D

I need to dust off my clubs and hit the driving range. Ever since the broken clavicle (1.5 years ago) I have not swung a club.

I hear that pasta_fredo freak tears up a course (literally). FORE!!!

Played my first round of golf in over 2 years. I only needed two mulligans (one because some stupid-head started walking onto my fairway from another hole; and another because I loused a pitched and felt like doing it over again). I pulled a +15 outta my ass (11 over on the front; 4 over on the back); and even got a birdie!
