I have a 98 VFR with 46,000 + miles on it with a power commander, k&n air filter, Two Bros Ti high mount down one tooth on the front sprocket and a new rear sprocket with stock gearing, gold regina chain new, LP tank bra, zero gravity double bubble tinted screen, gel grips(not the mushy kind), y2k mirrors, a speedohealer to correct the speedometer from the gear change, d208's with a little tread in them, custom frame sliders very rare on these bikes, all graphics have been removed except the honda wings on the tank, just had a full service at Lee's Cycle center and I have all paper work for anything that has ever been done to or bought for this bike since I purchased it in Nov. 2001. This bike is great and the only reason that I am even considering selling it is because I have fallen in love with the new speed triple. This bike is great and I have resolved the rectifier issue that has plagued vfr owners. This bike is in great shape for a 98 and most people are suprised that it is that old with that kind of mileage. These V4 engines can get 100,000 miles plus out of them so this is not that high a mileage for this bike. I am asking $6000.00 but I am willing to negotiate. Call Tom at 858 457 5814.

I would also like any input anyone out there could give me as far as asking price. I know that I would never get 6G's for this bike. What sounds reasonable considering the mods. Thanks.

I might just consider it if I was not so taken with the new Triumph Speed Triple. I just got to have that bike

Just had full service at Lee's
Just fixed and replaced rectifier regulator and fixed pervious problem with that

bobbed rear fender
Hi mount TB Ti slip on
New regina gold chain
New front counter sprocket minus a tooth
New stock gearing rear sprocket
New fluid in clutch and brake lines

This bike is no slow poke, I can keep up with the new 600's and 750's no problem and all the low end tourque is lots of fun at Palomar or on the street
I also have a LED turn signal into running lights intergrator that will be included(havent had time to install)
Also included is a stock rear shock with only 7,000 miles on it to replace original one and a pair of black leather pants if wanted
I think that is everything. I am asking 5,000 or best offer.
I know that this is a little above KBB value but I have done just avout every mod that you can do to this bike without throwing in a big bore kit(which I have considered). PLease feel free to ask any questions that you might have. I am selling this bike only because I want the new Speed Triple and that is the only reason I am selling it. The bike is awsome and been great to me over the years. Just ask any VFR owner how great these bikes really are. Soprt bike perfomance with comfort, crazy concept huh?
