Wanted 99-02 R-6 Forks

I am looking for a set of fork's w/ or w/ out the upper and lower triple clamp's. I had one hell of a high side going up the hill exiting turn 5 this weekend at Willow. I am also looking for a lower fairing. (hotbodies, or what not). Oh, and yes a wind screen.

I bought a 2000 R-6 on ebay hoping to make a track bike out of it. but like a idiot , i took the dealers word and ended up with a bum bike that i can't do anything with . I'm trying to get rid of the thing If you want it you can use whatevers on it. I bought it for 3200, trying to get at least 1700 for it.

If you part it out . . . DIBs on the bodywork!! . . . possibly the exhaust!!

has no title , the dealer told me with a receipt of sales which included frame, motor and misc it would fall under special construction bike if i wanted to get a title. but he told me you don't need one for a track bike. then my dumb @$$ rushed on it , didn't even check to see if had vin#s . so i learn the hard way lose out but what can you do.

so what, is this bike stolen? are the vin numbers missing? serioulsy let me know and what else is wrong with it and I'll lay cash in your hand tomorrow if it's a runner. seriously.

well I tried to find out but when i called DMV and CHP they said they theres nothing they can do with it since i have a receipt for it , but with no vin# or anything that can identify the bike, it can't be titled, registered or considered stolen . so if i can't ride on the street or take it to the track its only good for parts , so the dealer that sold it to me said what our agreement was for parts ,(i missed that part inbetween where he said "you don't need to register it if you want to run it on a track.")So if you want it for part its yours for 1700.

are you looking to sell the bike whole or part it out? I really need the front forks. Name a price and i will have the cash!! You will make a hell of alot more cash parting out the bike then selling it
