Awesome weekend! seriously, I haven't had a better weekend at the track in a really long time. Got up there Saturday afternoon to get my hands on some tires and watch/help Troy run the GTO race. Talked to my shady Dunlop conection and scored some prime 209gp take-offs from the AMA rounds and had em mounted up. Pulled my bike apart, took the rear shock out, lowered the rear, raised the front, softened the rear shock a couple clicks then watched Troy whoop some azz in GTO Awesome job man! Slept right next to my bike and woke up early to get ready for the day.

First practice was great, still had a little head shake so I came in and made a couple changes then right back out. Came in pretty happy, made a few more changes to the shock and went out for the second session. Three laps was all it took for me to know today was going to be a good day!

First race was 600 Mod production. I Was gridded 20th right in the middle of the pack. Warm-up lap I chased Jason Perez outta the pits and followed his line through T2 and T4 to see how he did it. Lined up and got ready for the start. As the green flag waved a hole opened up in front of me and I shot out to a great start and made my way over to the left side of the track right with James G. (wsmc607) I left him enough room to come through cause I knew he would force his way through anyway and hope to stick to his rear through the first couple laps. Going into T2 he made a bonzai pass up the inside of one guy then went into a two wheel slide into to guy outside of him! I held her tight and went under a couple guys but James held on and shot around the outside closing the door on me at the exit. I got held up in a pack of about 6 bikes for a couple laps and it took me longer to get through than James so he gapped my a little. Then about half way Dustin "The SHOCKER" comes around me in T9 like always but this time I wasn't gonna let him have it. Went super deep inside of him and another rider in T1 to make up a couple more spots. After that I really put my head down and started to reel in James. I put in a flyer and by far my best lap ever at a 1:27.200 and could see that I was slowly gaining on James but not fast enough. Then with 2-3 lap to go I come through the bottom of T5 and see James flying though a cloud of dirt and as I approach T6 his bike comes ghost riding right in front of me right across the track and slams the dirt embankment hard! Luckily James is OK and is up on his feet the next time I came by. This left me alone on the track with no one ahead or behind me. I finish the race happy but don't believe Aaron and Jae when they tell me I finished 5th! top 5 in 600 mod prod is such an awesome result and when I saw my lap times I was blown away! awesome race for sure!

Race #2 was 650 sbk. Gridded 22nd I bogged horrible off the line and watched 36 riders walk a way form me  all well, I'm almost dead last so I put my head down and start picking people off. around the outside of a couple guys in T2, late brake a couple more in 3, dove inside two guys in T4, up the inside of three more in T9...few laps later catch up to Dustin and stuff him and another rider into T1...seemed like I was in traffic this whole race and never had a clean lap. I had the most fun this race and was again blown away that I had come all the way form the back and made it up to 12th place! running some more 27's in traffic with a best 27.4! stoked!

Race # 3 was 600 superstock. I was gridded 11th, by far the best grid spot all day! got a great start and went into T1 in about 7th or 8th! It was awesome being that close to the front cause I could see Perez and Beck duking it out all the way around until T6 when they started walking away. After a couple laps I really started feeling it, My arms where dead. I amde a few mistakes and was finding it hard to wrestle the bike between 3-4 and 5-6. I need to start working out!!!! I los a couple spots and was way off my pace form earlier, best lap 28.something...ended up 10th though with my good start so I 'm really happy with two top 10's to show for the weekend!

Big thanks to ANDY from ACTracing for getting me an absolutely awesome custom suit made  Ado and the people at GOODRIDGE  and especially Jae, Aaron, Sean, and everyone else from BUYMOTO.com for helping me out so much!!!

till next month...

Awesome man, Very respectable finishes all of them! 1:27.2 dayum man!

plus you looked super hott!! in your new leathers!

I got a few pics of you but my camera blows so they are the best you can do with a 2 mp fuji. I will post them at socalsportbikes since this board makes you shrink them to avatar size 150x150 or 7Kb whichever is less. :ha:

Great job this weekend, it sure is nice to be down in the 27's. It looks like you and I continue to progress at about the same rate. I need some new fork tubes. Know of anyone that has some? The bike is not to bad off. Great race in MP bro. All six of my laps were in the 27's. I knew you would be close.

Shaggy looked good out there for sure.. He asked something like "so..how'd I look".. I was like dude.. you looked great out there.

Shaggs was way more agressive than I've ever seen him. He passed like 3 guys on the inside of 4.. and even tried my gnarly line in 9 a couple of times..

Me...i was just trying to salvage something out of this weekend. i woke up saturday morning sick, and it was just worse on Sunday.. I actually stayed home from work yesterday, and maybe today too.. its kind of distracting when your nose is running, and you've got a fever while trying to race ;)
I think I still did no slower than 29's all day on Sunday ;)
