Hey CEEZ!... Didn't your momma tell you not to play with guns!... This is a 50 caliber machine gun located on the starboard stern of the ship.

This is where it all happens... well sort of... this thing was like barely tall enough to fit in and I would imagine rollig over would cause you to hit something... yeah I would get mad clausterphobia on that one....

One of the jet engines which powers the ship... on a side note... I made Ceez shat himself when I accidentally used a flash to initially take this picture right after he said no flash... opps... I sorta thought... "hey Chuck.. don't pee in the street when we're in Tijuana"... the room this engine is in has sensors that detect sparks, heat, and what not and would consequently fill with c02 foam or something or other... so yeah...thatr flash could have been misconstrued a spark... I almost messed this up... :o

Anything capable of automatically aiming at an object and letting 4,500 rounds per minute fly deserves a picture. Ceez was saying this thing automatically retarget's on somethign as it blows it to smithereens. If a plane were flying at this thing... and it starts firing and blows up the wing, it would automatically target say the fusilage, then if it blew that up, it would retaget on say the tail of the aircraft. Crazy... this is straight anti-kamikaze for sure!

Very cool pics indeed! I have done several Tiger Cruises on the Helicopter Landing ships and one on the Kitty Hawk. I have always loved navy ships.

I guess Ceez didn't show you the lingo that Seaman speak.

1 Civilian-on board a Navy Ship
+1 Navy Seaman
-----
2 Squids :D

A Seaman is usually called a Squid! Just like a Marine is called a Jarhead! Try it the next time you see a military personel!

Yeah, those rack's are pretty tight in space. Spent alot of time on a ship and clausterphobia becomes the norm. During heavy seas lots of people would roll out of there racks and from the top rack, that's a hell of fall. That's why i would take the bottom. But then, people would use the bottom rack as a ****'n step ladder. Can't when for lose'n. Go figure.

Nice Pic's though.
