What happened to the $50 Track Novice Day?

I think it was on Hypercycles that I saw a post about a $50/day track day only for track novices, but I can't find the post anymore to get more info. Does anyone remember seeing this thread on this site? I think the day was sponsored by LA law enforcement to encourage people to go to the track and get them off the streets. If this rings a bell with anyone, please fire back with link or something. Thanks.

yeah, thats not cool. I also heard that they might be booting people off the track if they look like they are blazing out there
