Shaggy and Dustin down!

I heard Shaggy and Dustin both went down today in turn 4, both got somewhat banged up but are for the most part OK I believe, I heard Dustin had some broken ribs and Shaggy got knocked out.

Anyone who has more details on the guys conditions please post!

**SHAGGY UPDATE**It was Turn 3, he doesn't remember much, but he is under heavy pain medication. Broken humerus, not sure if its distal or proximal. All the info that I have is heresay on what happened and Ill let him speak for himself when he gets better. He is just dizzy right now from the meds and he will stay there overnight. Carol is with him and his parents are driving back from Phoenix. Thanks to Mellissa and Jae for helping him out.

Will keep eveyone posted....

I hope a speedy recovery for Dustin. All I heard (heresay) is that he "possibly" had broken ribs and a punctured lung....in any case I hope the best for him.

Oh man...those guys are in a lot of pain, broken ribs hurt like hell. Damn, I wonder if they wear chest protectors? I always wear mine on the track, I bet they will too after this if they don't now.

what track did this take place?This happened at willow. From what i have heard it happened going into turn three. Sounds like quite an accident. Jason had a broken humerous and a partially collapsed lung as well as rib damage. Get well soon guys!

yeah.. from the footage I saw, Shaggy and I sort of got tangled up with eachother and crashed out maybe as a result of the tangle... Not sure..

I was entering 3, and passing several riders on the outside.. about mid-way through I saw shaggy's wheel coming toward me... Then my bike started moving around and stuff.. it seemed we were connected becuase I couldn't really move away from it.. I then stood the thing up trying to ride it over the hill to maybe dislodge him from me.. and the next thing I knew I was face down in the dirt trying to breath.
I've got 5 total ribs broken (2 in front, and 3 in the back area) all on the left side and a bruised lung.. I've also got some nasty bruising on my left shoulder, and a really nice one on my left butt-cheek!

I hope shaggy is OK

Dang Dustin sounds like your hurtin pretty good. Glad you are OK though overall. BTW do not I repeat DO NOT post any pics of butt cheek bruising. :ha:
