I was thinking about hitting S22 and Banner grade this Sunday and wanted to see if anyone else was down for it??? That is if the T-storms aren't dropping buckets that day. PM me if you want to meet up.

Weather.com;
Partly cloudy with a stray thunderstorm. Highs in the mid 80s and lows in the upper 50s. 30% chance of precip... I don't know about you, but I'm about ready for some plain old dry heat...

Cool, I'm definitely going if the weather cooperates. I had one other guy PM me but I'm not commiting to anything until I see the weather report later on tomorrow. If it is a go, I'm coming down from Oceanside so I'm thinking about meeting somewhere in between here and down south. Maybe by the mall in Escondido then from there through Ramona to Julian, down Banner then out to Borrego, then up S22. You still down Dissident? As far as being nervous on the new bike, I'm a VERY firm believer in riding your own pace...
Looks like as of now, It's 30% chance of rain in the Mts, and 20% out in Borrego so I'm thinking it may be a go :thumbsup:

How early are you going? I'm going somewhere tonight and will be getting back tomorrow morning, so if it's early, I might not make it... Um, let me know where everyone is meeting and I'll try and make it, but don't wait for me...

Just heard that there's still T-storms out there. I took my bike to Oceanside Ducati for 600 mile service and another guy in there said he was just chased out of the canyons by some major T-storms. Be safe out there, fellas, if you decide to go.

Well, my plan is to leave my house in Oceanside at 8:30 or 9:00. If it starts looking ugly on the way out, I'll just turn back, go home and watch WSBK instead. If anyone wants to chance it with me, shoot me a PM or post up here...

Looks like I'm gonna hit Telegraph Canyon instead. Should be a little nicer there...

I will be at the Mobile at 9. Been too long since I rode last.

Banner was nice but crowded today. There was a little bit of gravel in the first few turns near the top on Saturday that had been cleared away today.
However, there were two cops sitting at the restaurant at the bottom. They gave us dirty looks each time we went for additional passes but left us alone.
