View Full Version : another new rider... but i'm taking it easy

hey guys. new to hypercycles and i just bought my first bike 2 weeks ago. it's only a ninja 250 (commuter for now, college drains my $$$) but it's still pretty fun. i'm planning on upgrading to a 600cc sometime towards the start of '06 but for now, this is my new toy:

Welcome. Glad you're taking it easy as a new rider. ALL new riders should take it easy. That's a cool looking Ninja 250. It eerily reminds me of my Ninja 250 of 15 years ago. The difference would be that mine had a black bottom, so it looked more like the 600 Tom Cruise rode in Top Gun. Sing it with me...You lost that looooovin' feelin and it's gone...gone...gone. Whoa-ooh-oh-oh.

hey guys. to answer some questions.. i'm EE major in marshall college, and the bike is in amazing condition considering it's a '92! there's only one blemish on the tank, and the rest of the plastics are in almost perfect condition. as for gear i picked up a KBC VR-2 and an A* TZ-1 in red, and i had some old A* SMX-4 gloves from '03 when i took the MSF course.

anyway, i love the attitude of everyone here (keepin it safe and smart unlike some of the ricers i see on automotive boards).
