Earlier today while I was at work, every time I went to Hypercycles, it would lag a lot? It wasn't my comp at work because last night at my home comp, it was doing the same thing. Now back at my home comp, it's working fine. Any ideas, Jae,Bryant, Dre?!?!

I noticed this too. The thing is jae and i paid to have this site hosted on a "shared" server to try to keep costs down a bit so I think that if someone else's site on this server ended up consuming a lot of resources, it's possible that this could be one of several other reasons for the lagginess. For the most part, the server's been performing well for us but yeah, for us Hypercycles addicts.. we'll notice every little detail of connectivity issues 24/7. ;p

At least HyperCycles didn't go down. My site (http; ftp; email; everything!) was down for about 30 minutes! :( I hope you guys are backing things up. The good news: after I opened up a ticket, they responded and took care of the issue immediately.

Wow.. yeah, I've only done one major backup so far... I think I'll make it a weekly thing. Thanks for the heads up Andre!!

The network engineers are currently trying to locate the problem, I can assure you that I will find out some real information once this is done as to excatly what is occuring and why it hasn't been resolved permanently.

I have seen Sean's error and I know what the problem is....
Here Sean write this down: First, the letter "I" next, write the letter "D" then, write the number ten and finally, pen the letter "T."
This will show you the answer to all of your problems... I guarantee!
:D
Unfortunately our host is somewhat spotty. Because we share a server with other sites, there are times when other sites will experience heavy traffic and we will lag due to it. I am considering a move to a dedicated server but it may not happen for a few months yet. I will keep my eye on this one...

whoa, that was weird. I was trying to log back onto Hypercycles today and when I typed it, it asked me if I wanted to open it, or save it as a doc file?!?! I've been trying to log on for the past hour and finally it did, but it went to the old og Hypercycles forum. The blue back ground with the UCSD and Palomar Temps at the bottom of the screen. Weird!!!!:beam:

I have noticed the slowness, but it has been always during peak hours, so I gave it no thought.
