Walker tests 06 ZX-10R
Chris Walker and American rider Doug Chandler have just returned from Japan after spending a week putting in laps at a Kawasaki test track on what is thought to be the 2006 ZX-10R.

British Supersport rider Pere Riba is already reported to have completed several test sessions on the bike in Spain and Walker’s success in World Superbike means he is likely to be at the top of the list to test the new bike.

MCN has heard that the tests are designed to try out the geometry on early versions of the bike.

We’ve already revealed that the bike is likely to have some kind of bellypan exhaust system like the recently announced ER6-n and there have been heavy hints from the Japanese firm that the ZX-10R will follow the styling lead of the current ZX-6R.

i like it better than an undertail and you should be able to get better hp numbers. hard to kill the noise though,...aftermarket pipes could scream

Its def a photochop.. It looks like it is. The current bike with a side pipe. Not all that exciting in my book.

well this has been in a few mags in europe. But its to early to tell if thats it or not. Wait till fall and you will get the true answer.

haha! you know who else has a belly pan ehaust? BUELL!!! ha, talk about copying from the leader of high tech!

Just joking, thats way sicker than an undertail any day. Still think they should leave the side pipe alone though...we should send em' a picture of Master Strobles bike to show em how cool it looks!

The Exhaust actually comes out under the rear set.....like the MotoGP bikes, I wonder how loud thats going to be
