I am off Thursday as well and was thinking about heading up there but the weather forecast is calling for some serious winds in the mountains and valleys on Thursday. A Santa Ana moving in. If that forecast changes I will be there.

What time you headed out, and where you wanna meet? I have night shift so as long as I get some (like 7 hours) sleepy time before 10pm I'm down for a mountain run.

dont' worry about it, sorry you can't make it. I have never been to a bike night before, I was thinking about going tonight. Are you going to the one in Mira Mesa?

I'm not sure to what extent, but I heard that the tight side has some type of road work going on. I was told that so far this is only on the upper half of the mountain and the bottom portion is still open. I have not seen this for myself. Just wanted to give you a heads up, good luck...

There was road work on the upper half and it looks like they are heading towards the bottom. It probably will be a mess this weekend. Thanks for the heads up anyway.
