We haven't done one in a while... some of us will be in Vegas this coming weekend. Would ya'll be able to meet for breakfast/lunch/ride/etc.. the following weekend (Oct 8 or 9)? Post up and let's get something together!

Since Jeanette needs to be at the MSF course by 1( 12:45 is probably more like it); why don't we have lunch at the place that is within walking distance to the course? El Torito I think is the name of the place........so so place; but, this way Jeanette won't feel rushed ;)

Sunday the 9th? I have church in the morning but I should be done by 11:30. Since we are on a time crunch I don't think we should go to Hash house. There's usually a long wait there especially for breakfast/brunch on Sundays. So are we doing lunch or brunch? If we do lunch any of the suggestions Lin made are all good... but if we do brunch I have a couple suggestions.

Hamburger Mary's or Baja Betty's - Hillcrest (good food & champagne but crowded & parking sucks)
Kono's Surf Club Cafe - PB (good food and next to the beach but parking sucks)
Original Pancake House - Clairmont (kind of like IHOP)

or we could always go to DaKine in PB.... yum!

Lin, just pick a place and we'll all be there at 11:30 :)

Ahem...*cough cough* well, my battery just died on me (again) yesterday... So yeah, I need to first get my new battery. In any case, I don't think I'm ready to ride the roads and highways yet. I'm just starting off, and don't know the SD roads. And I just dropped my bike (again) on a hill when I came to a stop. So I have somebody comming on saturday to help me out with that. Hopefully that'll do the trick. For now, it'll be better if I can get a ride with somebody. Anyone taking passengers?

don't worry about the dropping your bike thing... that's pretty much all the rash my bike has. i mostly like to drop it on the right side when i stop. silly short legs. you'll get used to it.

I've lost count on how many times I've dropped my bike... Just take it slow and easy.. I've been riding a little over a year and there are still a ton to learn!!

Thanks to the ladies who showed up and I'm sorry to those that didn't know that we changed it or went to the Brigantine's instead. I'll make sure to call our next meeting place to see that they're actually open the time that we're supposed to meet up. I'll post some pics later tonight!
