View Full Version : Palomar very dirty (from another board)

well a rider from SCS said that they have dropped dirt on the upper half of the tight side of palomar. this could mean repaving is coming:pray: or it could just mean crappy riding condtions for a few weeks. anyway i have not been there since this was posted so i odnt know how bad it really is up there, just be caustious and aware when you go:cool:

its me secret way of keepign the mountina to my self....tell people it is messed up so they odnt go:devil: then have a nice empty road....................... i wish:cry:

The upper half of Palomar is a mess. I was up there today (Thursday). It looks like Cal-Trans is cleaning out the edges of the road and it the process are dumping dirt all over the road. It looks like they are heading down towards the bottom. This weekend might be a good time to try another road.

I believe it is time to break out the dirt bikes and dual sports homies!!! There is always a reason to go to Palomar! heheh

Yeah, the last time I was at Palomar with Tech, Greg, Randizzle, D-ness, Mill, there was a lot of dirt near the bottom on the right hand side if you're heading up. It seems like they are widening the shoulder so that cars have more room to pull off.
