So kids... how about it. Gonna do some Korean grubbin....
Wednesday 10/05/05 @ 7:30 at the Tofu House:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=4225+Convoy+Street+San+Diego,+CA+92111&spn=0.026108,0.051900&hl=en
Look for the Thai House. You can see it better from Convoy. The Tofu House is in the same mall.
...wow Google changed the way their maps thing looks... arrgh!
...and aren't you just stoked about my advanced notice!

Is this a trick? Like, you're gonna change the restaurant at the last minute.....or you'll post the *REAL* address 30 minutes before people are supposed to show up??? Did you mean to tell people *gasp* IN ADVANCE?!?!?!?! Jeez I mean people might actually be able to show up or something.
Chuck? Is that you???
:uhh:
Ha jus kiddin. I have no idea what Korean food looks/smells/tastes like but it sounds like fun!

After being stuck on a disputed island between Korea and Japan for a week (slept on the floor, waited for ANY boat to come pick me up), living on rice and kimchi, Korean food does not seem that appealing to me anymore :) Finally got picked up by a tourist boat that we flagged down. They said I was only the third white man to ever visit the island (more like a rock actually, about 8 hours by boat off the east coast of Korea). The other two were also from my company, we were installing a satellite system at the radar base.
From the CIA web site: "South Korea and Japan claim Liancourt Rocks (Tok-do/Take-shima), occupied by South Korea since 1954". I was on Tok-do... But anyways, it's been a while, so maybe I'm in after all...

Looking back, it was actually a great experience. Especially playing ping-pong with the Korean soldiers. I can tell you about that over dinner :guitar:

I love Korean BBQ. If you guys are ever in Tustin, check this place out. Seoul Garden (http://www.fcdonline.com/profiles/pages/seoul_garden.htm) It's worth the money. Too bad there's nothing like this in Daygo!

This should be fun... I'm stoked... hopefully this is better than the last time I tried ethnic type food.
Ya see the last time I did this.... I rdered "#34." What I got was a big bowl of spaghetti where they had apparently forgot to drain the water afterwards... a few leaves, a shrimp or 18 and it was called "fuh."

Uuuuuuh, I think you just opened up pandora's box Chuck!! :shifty: Since you said that, you have to eat some undrained noodles, with extra intestines-loaded with fatty tissue. Can't forget extra stomach lining!!! YUMMY! :puke:

wow ... did you have a "Wilson"

No Wilson.... Unless those ping-pong balls were Wilson :)
You don't need big balls to entertain yourself... wait, that didn't come out right.

The big ones would only be required to entertain others :roflmao:
