The 1st pic is $! So what's your take on the east track? Give us some feedback on how you liked it.

I think it's actually the west track that's the new one. I really liked it a lot, but I only have a couple of other tracks to compare to (SOW and LVMS), so Shaggy, Pulse, Speed, and the other pros can give you much better data than I can.. But the brand new pavement was awesome, only a couple of turns (right hand turn at the end of the back straight, and turn 10 coming on the front straight had some bumps, other than that it was smooth). Several off camber turns, sweet 6-10 foot drop arond turn 3 I think it was. That one was pretty freaky during the first couple of sessions, but kind of got used to it after that. Mostly 2nd and 3rd gear stuff (with the RC), only got into 4th briefly on the back straight. So very tight and technical, will certainly go back there in the future! The track eats rear tires! I was running the Racetec K2, it was toast before lunch on Sunday. No problems with the K1 front. Switched to a Pilot Race medium rear, that seemed to hold up much better (running 21 psi). Several other people had problems with the right side of the rear tire too, you're on the gas a lot while leaned over.. Weather was perfect, sunny and low 70s.

the track was sweet, except for the bumps bengt mentioned the track was perfect. Cann't say tire wear was bad at all though, maybe suspension or too much power cause my tire looks brands new.

Yeah, that track is flippin sweet. After the sighting laps and the first session there were more than a few turns that damn near scared the crap out of me. I don't know what it was about the off-camber left after the front straight (T1?) and the right after the back straight (T4?), but they were pretty intimidating until Jared showed me how it was done (thanks mang). After that it was soooooo on.

Hello everyone. Just thought I would contribute a few photos from the weekend at Pahrump as well. I thought the pictures came out rather well, but there is still no topping Bengt’s pic on the first page…that shot is MONEY!!


Here is a pic of me holding up some motard guys on the opening session in the B group. The entire session I was having problems with the feel from the front end of the bike while trying to learn the track.

The back section of this track is awesome…a lot like a rollercoaster. This is me passing turn 4…the fastest turn on the track.

They are Cheetah. I use the stock bolts, but the two big ones on the sides (behind the duct tape) don't fit right because these fairings are much thinner than the stock ones around the bolt hole. But the duct tape worked fine...
