Who wants to have lunch at Mother's this Saturday (01/14/06)?

Does anyone want to accompany me to Mother's on Palomar Mountain? I'd like to try the cafe and do a few laps on the tight side. This is, by no means, a competition to see who's the fastest or any of that silliness. Just a nice, tame ride. I'd prefer someone who knows the roads and wouldn't mind going a little slow for a modest rider. Post up and let me know!

Well, looks like I'm not going to be able to go. My friend is out of town so I can't borrow his bike. I can't wait until my parts arrive so I can put my engine back together...not being able to ride really sucks. :(

According to weather.com, rain isn't supposed to roll into SD until tomorrow afternoon/evening. So it looks like the morning ride should be fine. Is this still going to happen?

For the palms to the pines run, we were going to meet at D&B around 7:30am, and leave there at 8am sharp. We could meet there, cruise up to pally, have bfast at Mothers (never been there either), and cruise Mt. Laguna. Would be back in town by lunch and before the rain. Who's in?

Nope I didn't make it out today, stayed in. Perhaps in a couple of weekends I'll try plan another Lunch at Mother's ride.

Yeah, the rain didn't come today like they said. The ride was beautiful. Sunny skies on the mountain and not too cold. Made two trips up and two back down. Was still home in time for lunch!
