gonna start this thread out early to see if we can get a good group out to this awesome trackday:cheers: takeit2thetrack.net will be running the normal buttomwillow config.13 track with a twist, we'll be running backwards! this is an entirely different track when run backwards, think about it, it's like running a new course you've never been on! Pulse, Argh6, and myself will see if we can get a good hypercycle discount if we get enough people intersted in this, I'm sure Aaron would be willing to help us out if at least 10-15 people plan on going! lets do this!

If you have not immediately jumped in and posted that your gonna be there for sure, then I can only assume that your head blew up when hearing about this awsome event and that why you haven't posted yet!

How's T1 with the reverse config.? Should be a much harder braking zone than normal T1 eh.

yeah we are thinking the new turn one, the bus stop and the normall turn two should all be very interesting going backwards :guitar: . the new turn one is going to be much harder breaking than the original turn one, and i believe is isnt quite as wide. it will be night and day with running the course in its normal direction:)

if enough people go, and don't like the backwards configuration...
would you guys run it normally?

If the price is right, I may have to take the day off and come out.

Edit: Just looked at their prices and they're regular price is the same as Trackdaz, so I'll put this on my calendar and see if I can make it. :guitar:

I think you mean t2. Turn one is at the end of the straight (normaly)

he is talking about the turn that will be the new turn 1, the last turn running normal direction.

Won't turn 1 be about the same in bofe directions?

That freak'n "off ramp" turn will be hairy going backwards - hairy in a fun way. You'll have to brake pratty hard going in, but try to hang wide since it's a sharp decreasing radious (a-la Mt. Palomar). With the entry to that turn being flat (zero camber) - especially at the outside, I don't know how much trail braking you'll want to do even though it's a decreasing radious turn. We'll have to see. The first session or two, we'll all probably be going in there so damn slow, the bikes will hardly be leaned.

I'll corner work turn 2 or 12 whichever you want to call it. It might be seeing some action!!

So since T2TT is running it backwards, say for example if I tuck the front or chop the throttle will I crash counter clockwise since we're running backwards?!?! :ko:

does this mean you would need like a Honda GoldWing tranny w/ reverse gear?
