Needa start planning for the next club meeting, this one for all people interested in the club so we need to plublicize it - i have an idea for a flyer i sorta started on it during winter break but i never got back to it so i guess ill do that soon and post it for some constructive criticism... or if anyone else has ideas for a flyer post up
need volunteers to help me post fliers around campus and possibly hand them out on library walk
ummmm other than that, i need to know what day of the week is good for everyone, mon and wed are bad for me unless its like 10pm... i got school all morning and work all night, tues ok thurs not till after 8 and i dont think anyone wants to meet up on a friday night...
last but not least if anyone has specific things they really want brought up during the meeting post up also

I think we should have a meeting this week thursday, 3rd week of school at the same place before... Sun God Lounge around 9ish...
For the meeting, I think we should first get a tentative date for the PC show(date, setup, flyers, etc)
2nd, we need to become organized as a club in the sense that we have some leaders or officers that members ca go to when they want to do something. I'm not doubting that many ppl want to help, but we need about 3-5 committed individuals who are willing to give up their time on a consistent basis to ensure that the club functions.
3rd, let's address what we want the club," hypercycles " to do.... Let's set up some goals to improve membership and get our name out in the public... It would make parking a lot easier especially at center hall, if we knew everyone who rides...
that's all i can think about for now... oh yea, also we need to get a list of names and numbers, emails, etc.
Anyone wanna add something?

Sorry, read this a little late, next thursday i think will be good, gives us time to make fliers and pass them out and let people know about it
Price center show, gotta blueform 3 weeks before event, i believe we were planning on a tues/thurs? cuz more ppl at school those days? someone correct me if i'm wrong. if that sounds good i'm thinking maybe a tuesday... 4 weeks from now is february 21st
all in favor say aye all oppose say nay so we can settle on a date asap
on the same note anyone wanna blueform it?
workin on flyer atm... will be done soon
everyone that wants to help out PM me and i'll respond w/ my number and e-mail, it'll be easier to contact me through those than the forum, i dont have a reliable internet source/time for browsing hypercycles on a normal basis

i don't believe there will be much "prepping" to be done over the weekend just a lot of planning before the date, and transporting things the day of the show
ill help flyer. is the meeting still on ?

love the drawing of Mikey, but I think that there could be a better pics. I would prefer one with more color. Its also to read when something is overlayed. Maybe one of the group shots at the track, on the track, group ride, bike night pic, and a shot of people at one of the buymoto bbqs.

yeah i was thinking that too but lotsa color flyers = lotsa $$$$$...
maybe a few color ones to post up and b/w ones to hand out?
i was thinkin the drawing only cuz it's the only thing i can think of that wouldnt make it unrecognizable when i make it really light in the background... faces and pictures dont turn out well when you change the brightness/contrast too much...

^_^ Mikey would love this flyer. I actually think it looks great. I agree with Bi when it comes to color copies and actual pictures on flyers. My club tried doing it once and it just turned out to be fuzz, especially with black and white. (You know we can make color copies at Imprints for cheap when we say you're a principle member part of a club right?)
One suggestion though...I think the meeting time and date should be put up top and bigger & bold. It's usually the next thing I would look for on a flyer.
Keep up the good work.

I will be there.

Edit- Has the location of the meet been given?

Yes, i know that, but still more expensive than black and white... by how much? if its only a few bucks then ok, but if it's more then i dont think it's worth it... i think its normally like 75 cents to print a color page off their computers i dunno how much for photocopies... but b&w is only 10 cents... sooooo for 100 copies thats a really big difference... i'm thinking like 200 fliers what do you guys think? post some up and hand some out... too much or not enough?
yes about the day and time for the meeting, joel said that too, i'll change it
senthil's reserving a room for us for the meeting next week and blueforming the PC show
anyone object to thursday at 9pm?
yay we're making progress :)

condensed version... w/ bigger font... was gonna use it for 1/4 page fliers to hand out and post full page more detailed ones...
anyone think i should jus use the condensed version for both?

The condensed version for both would look nice for both. Especially if you landscape the bigger one.
Oh, do we have a club e-mail? Or some sort of e-mail that someone can contact us with questions?
Crayziness
01-27-2006, 03:29 PM
i was thinking that... but then i thought... think theyll be smart enough to try to contact us on the board?
otherwise i guess ill put my email on there

I can check e-mails, I check mine all the time anyways. ^_^ Might not be too good with motorcycle riding knowledge, but I'll help out any way I can.
If you tell Imprints you're a principle member, it's 4 cents a copy instead of 6.
Reserved the room: 9:00PM February 2, 2006 - Gallery B (in Sungod lounge, 2nd floor of Price Center next door to shogun)

Hey everyone... I was wondering about refreshments for the night.... I spoke with B-Ying when I saw her on campus today.... If everyone just pitches in a couple bucks and someone brings some:
plates, cups, drinks, chips
I will bring some chips or anything else if needed
