MotoGP at Laguna Seca... Be There!

So I've met a few of you folks so far. For those that I haven't - hello to you all.

After kicking myself last year for not going to see the MotoGP race in Monterey last year, I have resolved to make it this year for sure.

Would anyone be interested in making this a "Hypercycles" trip?

Might make a great "iron butt" ride too...

If anyone is seriously interested in seeing the race, let's get things organized, real quick like, because accommodations in the Monterey area will be gone soon.

My room mate got us tix, don't know if we're gonna ride or hook a trailer up to my suburban. If we take the suburban I'll have room for 6 comfortably, I have 2 back seats, and I'll probabally get a trailer big enough to haul everybodies bikes up there with. So if anybody doesn't want to do the "iron butt" thing hit me up. I love riding as much as the next guy, but hey, the CBR's seat doesn't nearly compare to the seat on the tiller.

For anyone who's interested, I did this ride last fall and stopped in SLO half way. I have a reservation in SLO this year for Thursday night before the race. Here's info on the route I'll be taking...

just got my tickets and paddock pass too, almost forgot to buy it until Laguna Seca called to remind me that I was on the waiting list for paddock passes.

If you bought tickets, ask to get your name put on the waiting list for paddock passes. they're going to issue more since they sold out on the first day. They're about $40/pass

Gene, do you know where I can contact them for the paddock pass waiting list? I was really bummed when I saw they were already sold out.
