I'm working. If I can break free I will come check it out. I still am thinking about racing CCS. Its alot closer for me to go to firebird than it is Willow. Also, what is considered a god lap time around the west track?

Not sure what a good lap on the west course is but I do 1:00 flat (of course that wasn't a race so who knows). The race next weekend is on the east course.

Somewhere around 1:05 is a pretty good lap on West. A minute flat is hauling ass. The number 1 expert couldn't seem to get below :59. (Nor could Anyone else) You can see lap times from the NOV race at west on their website. www.roadracesw.com (http://www.roadracesw.com)

I just found out I have that weekend off. I am seriously considering entering this race. I have a novice licencse with WSMC. What races can I enter with CCS?

If I remember correctly, you can race about 7 different races from middleweights all the way through unlimited. If you're over 40, you can do formula 40 too. Got to www.roadracesw.com and you can get all the details there.

1 more week! gotta finish the bike up and throw on some new tires. I just got a new tire changer:banana: I need to plug them since they just picked me up for sponsorship.www.nomartirechanger.com

One more quick question. How would you compare the competition to WSMC? I haven't been to the east track yet. Im hoping that by doing the practice sessions and running in a gt race I wont get my ass spanked too hard. And do the amateurs and experts run at the same time? See ya there!

I can't comment on the WSMC level of competition since I don't race there but from the people I know who race WSMC, I would say that the guys in CCS are comparable. Of course, it's a new year so who know's. Also, who cares if you get worked. Come out and do it for the fun of racing. Yeah, I know it would be nice to win but........

The amatures usually run in the second wave of the same race except for the Unlimited GP (Cash paying purse race). WSMC is a very unique organization in that you have racers running the same track over and over and over and the more times that you run it, the better you are going to get. I know WSMC racers that were in the top 3 novices that came out to a CCS race and got lapped 2 times in a GT race in CCS, but I also know mid-pack racers in WSMC that came out and swept up at CCS. WSMC is a lot about how much you are willing to turn the throttle and the CCS tracks really cater to the more technical riders.

I've ridden with you before at willow and I'd venture to say that you'll prob be one of the faster novices and you might even want to apply for an expert license. If you do decide to head out that way then hit me up

As long as its not too late, I am entering on monday. I hope I can learn the track quickly. Anyway, it should be a blast even if I get spanked by all the regulars at the track. I haven't raced since Nov. @ Willow, and that was only my third time on a track so I have a lot more seat time now and am a less timid passer.

Jerry is going to come with me and be my pit crew. Hopefully next time he will be racing. Let me know where you guys are pitting so we can meet and represent Hypercycles. Werd

Yeah, I'm pissed I won't be able to come out and race with you guys!!! By next time I should have everything buttoned up and ready to go! (With the "new & improved" '03!!)

You and your brother really need to come out and race there. It seems like years since I've ridden with Jason.

Whoo hoo.... 1 more day. Any of you guys planning on running the full season? The guy I pit with is leaving at the end of next month.

I'm going to run a bunch of them but probably won't do the whole season. I know I'll be out there in March though:thumbsup:

Bad news, I called on Monday 2/13 and they were no longer accepting entries. I begged the lady on the phone, and she told me I was pretty much screwed until the next event. I can't make march, but I should be there in April.
