Does anyone know of a good place to get parts besides Ebay? I need a fairing stay for my headlights and nose section. And what is a good price?

Hmm... dunno. Hotbodies makes a 'fairing stay' but makes no mention about headlights. Maybe a dealership might be able to order one...??

Shaun, I know Sharkskinz (http://www.sharkskinz.com/sales%20items.htm) carries fairing stay. Might want to email them if they have 'em for the '03 R6. Also try www.gravesport.com Aftermarket is always cheaper than OEM!

I also need a fairing stay. How do these aftermarket stay's compare to OEM? $95@ SharkSkinz is CHEAP compared to OEM. Thanks for the links.

I can get sharkskinz parts at a pretty big discount if you are interested. It's actually part of our Hypercycles hook-up but I assure you the price will be lower than anywhere you can find online.

preferably the whole pipe...or a cover and a pipe...

need it for my upcoming undertail pipe project... I might try pulling apart my old stock pipe and modding that too...but that sounds like more trouble than its worth...

preferably an oval or small diameter canister

the aftermarket stays are race only most of the time...so far...does not have bracket for lights or mirrors

Hey Limited.... the fornt end of my 03 R6 had an unfortunate encounter with a road sign earlier in 2003 left me needing the fairing stay... headlampassembly... ram air... nose cowel... among other parts.

.... I got my fairing stay and headlamps by posting up on the R6 messagenet... got both the fairing stay and headlights for $250 shipped to me..... try posting up there under the "wanted" section...

I also ordered my nose cowel from mrcycle.com ... there is a fella named Kevin there who will take care of ya... good guy

all of this could be a moot point though if OEM parts happened to be available from... shall we say a "secondary vendor"
