Just wondering if ya guys/gals think a new motorbike parking lot somewhere on campus would be useful, and if so where.
Personally I would like to see one behind Geisel, the one next to price gets full real quick during the day.

There is one right behind EBU1. Not very big space but its usually empty. That area is kinda shady though. I wouldn't park my bike there unless I wanted it stolen. So ignore my post. Haha.

They should just expand the Center one... that big ole space next to the existing one for maintanence or ucsd trucks or whatever could fit at least another 15 bikes.

yeah i think extending the price center lot would be best. other lots dont fill up as quickly.

Honestly I think they need security cameras and posts to tie chains to on every lot. Heck they make so much money off the students anyway, I'm sure they could afford it.

yeah im sure the 2 hundred bucks they get for moto parking has already paid for the paint to mark off the box:rolleyes: time to put it to use for some bike theft protection:clap:

I am gettin pretty involved with ACCB [all campus commuter board] and will see what I can do with extending price center lots as well as the possibility of cameras - will post updates on this thread.

Some guy I saw in the lot was telling me you don't need a permit to park in price, since it is not marked with "m class permit required" [as required by law]. However be careful as you will be ticketed if you cross the boundary or try parking in marked lots [like up near Peterson]
