What lookout? I don't get around much since I moved up last July except to/from work. I see people riding on Sunday mornings sometimes, but I don't really fancy riding through Ortega. I've been through it in a car, and it doesn't really appeal to me too much. Guess the sirens I hear on occasion remind me how squidly some people can be on that road.

i also have that trackdaz package, so i can get you in for $80 i think it is

I do wanna roll, but only if I knew for sure I'd get on the track. I'd hate to drive all the way up there and find out that I can't go on. If you can be sure we can get in (and where I'm not in the race group :squid:), I'll take you up there fo shizzle.

I didn't mean to infer you were squidly. I'm actually just deathly afraid of that road given all the lives it's taken. I do live right off Ortega though, so if you ever want to hang out, let me know.

Yea, that road has taken a few. I just ride within my limits and watch out for the idiots. Never had a scary experience yet. Hope that shows my good riding skills and not just dumb luck. Maybe see you up at WS. This will be my first track day! :banana: I will be the slow one, protecting my GSXR's plastic. :holymoly:

First track day at Big Willow, huh? Have fun and be safe on that track. I hear it's intimidating and fast. I haven't been on there myself, so I'd like to check it out as well. Did you get a spot? If so, any more?

Yea I'm going to be very cautious since I’ve never been to a track before. Been riding on the street since I was 16 but I’m sure I will have lots to learn.

I signed up on the web site a while ago, before it was sold out. I only bought one spot in the street level. Do you know how to get on the waiting list? Just contact Dustin?

My first track day. I'm in Street. Sure hope it's dry. Maybe it will go through late on Sunday instead of Monday.

Well, my first Track Day was a success!:woot: I'm in one piece and my bike is in one piece. Taped over the speedo so I don’t know how fast I was going on the front straight but I know I got my GSXR1000 up to 10 grand in 5th.:holymoly: Totally exhilarating. It’s been years since I have done anything that was that much fun. Too bad it rained after my second session.:mad: I didn’t want to risk it in the rain so I packed up early. Can’t wait to do another track day. I’m totally hooked.

Started raining about noon. The Race class riders had finished their third 20 minute session and the Sport class riders were just starting their third session when it started coming down steady. I heard later that the rain let up after a while and the track dried up a bit.

I'm perfectly fine, though my left a$s cheek is a little sore from sliding so long on the pavement and dirt.

That track was frickin scary at first, but most of it flows pretty nice and it was alot more fun then I thought it'd be!

unless I can find a master cylinder and subframe very quickly, i doubt it :errf:

plus it wouldn't really be a race, it'd be more like trying not to get lapped by you

With you running 34~35's it would have been a race and a fun one at that.
