Okay guys and gals. Here's the details for this Saturday ride considering that the weather holds up. I hope some of the new ppl who just recently joined the boards can join us...

Meet at 9:30 at the Shell off of telegraph canyon rd.

Ride will go out through Tele - > Ride through Lions Valley -> Up 8 to Sunrise -> Up to Mount Laguna meetup spot -> Ride through Julian -> and end at Santa Y at the Country Restaurant. This may change if the group decides to take another route as I'm open.




Rules:
Staggered on multi-lane road
Single file on single lane with rider in back responsible for not crowding
We will wait for everyone at each stop sign (No one gets left behind)
Inform others if you break from the group
Stunting will not be tolerated
Must smile for the pictures
Most importantly, enjoy the turns and the company

Hi J. I would love to go based on having to cancel last Sunday's ride due to cruddy weather. However, I have plans this weekend so regretfully, I will not be able to attend. Have fun and be safe up there if you guys end up going. Hopefully, the leader won't take as many shortcuts as he did when he created this thread.

There will be plenty of rides coming up that you can join. Would suck to be at the top of Mt. Laguna or something and then have a tire blowout...

On a side note, my tires are looking good, so there is a slight chance I will join the ride :squid:

if there was anyone that was waiting for us at telegraph, i apologize... i didnt know where the shell was, it shouldve been the mobil that we always meet up at..... also, there was a huge big rig that flipped over which forced us to detour out of the way....

a friend and I tried to make this..but the eastbound exit off of 805 S was closed due to a cement truck flipping over. They closed down the entire exit and we had to get back on the freeway, turn around, blah, blah, blah...oh well. Hope it was a good ride for all.

aw crap...and I just looked and it was at the Shell. I have no idea where that is...we turned in the Mobil and nobody was there, but that wasn't until about 950.

We rolled into the mobil station at around that time. O_o But then we realized that we were looking for this Shell station...that turned out to be non existing. O_o Hahah...sorry about the mix up.

Sounds like those who went had a good time, to bad there was a mix up and that crash so some couldnt go.... Still wished I had gone.
ANYWAY, if you guys ever come down here to the south bay I can help you guys out. I have lived here basically all my life I know most of the major roads and back roads to get around. So if you ever need directions try giving me a call.
Also maybe in the future if you guys need to meet up somewhere in southbay we can do it at my condo complex, its really easy to get to, just merge on to the 54 from the 805 and its just off the first exit.... No chance of confusion that way. Just hopefully the other people dont have a heart attack and think of mad max.
