I went to buy a new rear tire today, and discovered the old one was much larger than stock. Ummm.

There was a 150/80ZR18 on the bike, which is much taller that the original 140/60R18. Was something done to the suspension to accommodate it? How do I tell? How do I undo it?

I ordered a standard Dunlap 140/60ZR18 tire from *********. Will probably get a new front tire as well since the old one is dated 98. Bike sits around too much.

Perhaps I should have done with the Bridgestone BT-010 instead --front 110/70ZR17 rear 150/60ZR18?

It's hard to say if the suspension was adjusted to accomidate the taller tire or not.

More importantly, was the suspension adjusted for you when you started riding that bike? If not, you'd be best off having someone that knows how help set it up for you or take it over to Lee's Cycle on Aero and have them do it (~$25).

Whenever you change tire profiles, a suspension adjustment is necessary.

you can get it done at LEE's but it seems liek you dont ride your bike enough to get that done....if it aint broke dont fix it...
unless you are unhappy with your suspension...dont mess with it
