I have 11,000 miles on both sprockets. I'm gonna order my 15 tooth front, but should I just replace the rear sprocket as well. Also thinking about a 520 DID chain. Any suggestions...
BTW, I don't know to what extent this matters, but I clutch 2nd gear wheelies up quite a bit. At least every time I ride solo. Occasionally I bounce them but doesn't this beat on your chain and sprocket also?

yup, replace that rear too or you will wear out the chain really fast

make sure you realize that your speedo will be off as well as your odometer....dont be fooled when it says that you got 260 miles per tank...

Good idea to replace it all at once. Usually you'll get the entire set (front/rear sprockets and chain) as a package deal.
Check out Sprocket Center (http://www.sprocketcenter.com) - They seem to have decent pricing and selection.

My stock set up is 16/48. What if I were to go -1 front and +1 rear? Why does everyone either suggest -1 front and keep rear stock sprocket size, or -1 front +2 rear (most popular by far) ? Would -1 front +1 rear change my gear ratio at all, or is this pointless?

realize that going down one in the front is the equivalent of going up like 2 or 3 in the back... the front has a greater effect...
no it's not pointless.
I have a solution to your drive train clutch wheelie purgatory.
