The race conditions were decent. There was a good "breeze" going but not as bad as in January and no rain. I was gridded 2nd. When the flag dropped, Ryan #2 in third position got the hole shot followed by Ryan #1 in first position. They moved towards the inside and I noticed that they were all slowing down. I carried speed into the corner and passed them all on the outside. I came out of the corner in first and held it until the exit of 8 where I got passed on the inside by Ryan #1 and then through that short straight by Ryan #2 and Ryan #3. I was able to follow right behind them into 9 but after that they were gone. I ended up in fourth place while the three Ryans took the top three spots.

Overall I was happy with my race. I was able to do a best lap of 1:33 which is something that I've been looking to do for a while. I'm thinking of moving up to expert next month but may do one last novice race.

At 10 points you can opt out of novice with the permission of the race director. Anything over 30 and you're automatically out.

good job greg, iwas checking your times sunday night and was stoked to see the 33 in there. hopefully i will be out again soon and we can go head first into some expert races:thumbsup:
