Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone knew of some shops in SD or OC that sell Alpinestars gear for cheap or for a reasonable price?... Or if anyone knows of some good deals online. The cheapest so far was online "indysuperbikes" not to hate on "buymoto" I bought metzler's from them for a good price. I'm a struggling college student that needs all the help one can get...
To be more specific I am in need of Alpinestars S-MX PLUS Racing Boots, GP-Tech Gloves, and Tech Back Protector, I plan to hit up the track soon.
I know these aren't cheap but, I would like to have the best quality just in case I go down, cuz I don't want some cheap knock off that won't do the job. Also, I know it's better to spend the money cause there isn't much that will protect us from the road.
So, if anyone knows of some good deals please spread the word. Thanks

um yup there will be a handful of peeps there...turn outs have been great lately... To answer your first question I would try buymoto first but if that doesnt work then hunt down some 20% off coupons for ********* and that will make a huge difference. Looks like you are going to spend like $400-$500 on gear with that coupon you could be out the door for like $100 less...They price match too. Go see Melbell(Melissa) from the ********* on convoy. She is on Hypercycles too...

Yea, just like Tom (longhornGSXR) said, Cycle Gear guarantees best price so if you find it anywhere else for cheaper w/in 30 days, they'll refund the difference. The only thing they won't match is online prices.

For the newbies to Hypercycles... just wanted to let you know that the owners and staff (consisting of Hypercycles founders and/or members) of BuyMoto will match or beat any competitor's advertised price. We are a small company compared to the Goliaths in the industry, but we happily support our Hypercycles.org members, offer good jobs for our members and even PAY for this site and administration. BuyMoto will NEVER rip you guys off.. our regular prices in the store are always at least 10-15% off retail and it is fairly common to see stuff at 20-50% on various items we have in the store. Just give us a chance at least. If you find a better price than what we can offer, we will do our very best to match or beat it. At least see what we can do for you. Our mission is to take care of our membership and to make riding affordable for everyone without the hassles of having to haggle or finding elusive coupons in your junk mail pile, etc. We have always supported our members in many ways every day and we hope you guys will continue to support us as well.

Dennis Kirk has an outlet store. I picked up a pair of Alpine Supertech boots for $250, an Alpine Star Textile Jacket for $130 and a decent pair of gloves for $80. The catch is if they have your size, I lucked out. Hope you find all your gear.

Yeah...I say check out BuyMoto. I've been buying all my parts, supplies, gear, etc from there since they opened up shop. BuyMoto is the first place I go cause they do take care of members.
