My 10 year old son had his first race this weekend at Willow Kart Track with CMRRA. He was riding in the 50cc water cooled class. He didn't do too well, but experience was gained. He did low side the bike, and got run over from another rider. He got back up, and was able to start in the second heat in which he finished!

This was just the start of his racing career!:cheers:

I've only got the clip ons. The links are on back order until the 10th. If you want, come on over like wed or something, and we'll hook up those clip ons.

With Ant's bike, we'll need to replace the grips, and put on a good set of bar sliders. Also need to look into brake pads and possibly motor... We'll see. Gotta do the post race tear down anyways.

There's no way they woulda let me race at that age. I think he's much better off to learn at an earlier age. Way to get back on the bike too.
