So I've got a night parking permit which is valid from 3:00 pm on. I got a ticket today time stamped 2:50pm. WTF over. Whoever issued this ticked should have been swallowed at birth but that's another point.

Anyways, is this even an appealable offense? If so, how should I go about doing this? I've read the form for making an appeal but it doesn't exactly give you guidelines on what constitutes an appealable offense. Should I just bs some huge sob story or what? Thanks for any help.

They will usually drop your first offense. Just take it to the office that receives these parking tickets and let them know you would like to get this one dropped..

This is my first offense but do I need to give a reason or just be like "this is my first offense, can you drop this one?"

Yeah, I was thinking about that but it's an electronically printed ticked so I'm thinking maybe they can't just adjust that ish on the fly and the time was already in his little machine or whatever.

And btw, as or Fri Apr 21, I was/am working full-time so no more unemployment. I just went to cash my last check today. :(

They are giving out a lot more tickets from what I've noticed. Probably to increase revenues. I got a ticket in the meter and i tried to appeal it and it was my first ticket, but they didn't accept my appeal. Just pay for it and get it over with. Unless you wanna spend the time and wait for the appeal to go thru, and if you don't get the appeal, you have to go to petition again. Just a big hassle, so it's your choice.
