I just picked up my bike from Alba after getting the coil packs replaced, so I missed today's ride.
Does anybody feel like riding Palomar tomorrow (5/7)? I'd rather not ride alone, but my roommate is out of town and my other buddy's girlfriend won't let him come out and play.
Send me a PM or post in this thread if you're interested.

Hadn't heard any feedback about Alba :errf:
My bike was idling like a twin and had no power even after it smoothed out higher in the powerband. I thought it might be the coil packs issue that is common on the '03 R6. This problem is covered by Yamaha even if you are outside of warranty.
I called around to see who could do the repair under the service bulletin:
- Lee's couldn't do it as they aren't authorized to do warranty/TSB repairs for Yamaha
- House of Motorcycles wanted to charge me ~$75 even if my problem was the coil packs issue that is covered by Yamaha
- Alba said it would be free if it was the coil packs problem; it was, and they charged me $0
Walt C - two words: study break
Wanderer - are you going to be at Palomar tomorrow?

I think you guys may have already taken off, but a guy threw his duc on the ground. I heard he was injured but sitting up and moving around some. If you're reading this, I hope you get well soon. :(
