Hey y'all,
I'm in Austin... I have a group I ride with here now, but I was wondering if there are any other transplants here in Texas. I'm right by UT and weather permitting always up for a ride into the hill country.

Yeah...down here just west of Austin. The "Hill Country" as it's known has some really beautiful rides. We did a 300 mile ride last weekend.
I haven't been down here yet, but I think we are going this weekend. Looks like a serious ride. Lime Creek Road. I hear it's pretty ridiculous.

Houston area is flat as can be... San Antonio/Austin you have the hill country.....and west Texas you have the mountains. I lived in San Antonio for 7 years.

Dude it is all about Hamilton Pool... that place is so dope!... I'd ride out there just to check it out. You have to hike like a 1/2 mile through a wooded area to get to it. Then out of no where this lagoon emerges. It is amazing. Just be aware the "organic toilets" are quite interesting.

Now I know two people in Austin....
Ok so yourself a favor... go to the HEB that's nearest UT right... and in that HEB's parking lot is a FREEBIRD'S BURRITO spot. Oh that's heaven.

Aren't you just as far from College Station as you are from Dallas? Either way let me know which track you want to ride and we'll meet up and try to meet on a regular basis. Take advantage of it now cause they shut down out here in the winter, sissys
The track in Cresson (near Fort Worth) is hella fun, new section just opened recently. I'll PM you my number so we can set something up.
