I was wondering if anyone would be interested and if you guys could find out if AS would helping in any part of the cost. I think since you guys will start to lead rides and be responsible for those on your rides you guys might want to cover your bases. My Certs will be expiring and was wondering if you guys would be interested.
We would need a minimum of 8 if we were to have someone come to somewhere like buymoto or a PC.

Should have taken advantage of the free CPR class Redcross provides every year....tsk tsk tsk. I'm part of the RedCross Club on campus so I'll talk with the President about it, she works for Outback adventures giving CPR classes daily. She might be able to hook it up with a lesson and certification for $8 (to pay for the certificate fee). No promises though. I don't think anything can happen until next quarter though. Very short notice to do anything (request AS funding as well as set up an event) right now, especially since finals are coming up....

Who is this someone? And what range of price are we looking at? AS funding requests need to be done the quarter before the event. So in this case we requested funds for FALL 06 PC show, but I don't know what happened beyond that....Senthil should know. And we don't get funds for the summer....I don't believe.

NOT UCSD related. Have a guy that will do it for 60 bucks per person from MY WORK. ITs 50ish at a CC.
Just an idea, and having it next year doesnt help for summer riding. If you are interested then say yes, if not then its ok.
Forget I mentioned AS.

If you guys have a big interest in it, my wife is an RN and can certify CPR and First aid. Can get you a pretty good deal too, I can probably talk her down to a good price. If you guys are serious or need to get certified or re-certified let me know and we can schedule a date and time. She teaches it at home part time in the Chula Vista area off Telegraph Canyon rd.
