Found out that Hwy 243 was just around the corner. Met a whole bunch of guys up there. Nice road to ride!

I live off Florida in Hemet. At the end of Florida going east you hit a mountain with a few "pre" turns. About 15 minutes, depending on how u ride, you see the 243. Damn its a nice ride. Theres probably a 4 mile stretch where you can go back and forth, both with safe turnouts. We stayed at that spot for a few hours. At one point we stopped at a turn out and there is fresh spring water flowing out of some rocks. So water is no issue there. If you ride the whole thing to Banning there are turns all over the place. Ranging from 80-90 MPH. We rode for 6 hours and saw one patrol car but unfortunately he was helping a downed rider. Im sure I saw two of those yellow signs that warned us about turns the next few miles ahead. One said 12 miles and the other said 22. Ive been in Hemet for a few months and always struggled to find riders or a place to ride. Palomar was the only choice. When we rode, we went up with about 14 riders. All lived here! Now I plan on going maybe once every two weeks. Never would I of guessed that 243 was just around the corner. Literally!
