Went up north for some leave and checked out Thunderhill while I was there. Very nice track , loved the flow of it. Theres a part I think was called the cyclone, very scary for me. Took most of the morning to memorize the track and watch the control riders lines but felt very confident towards the end of the day. Would love to do it again. The org I that threw it though was not as impressive, didn't provide lunch, but the control riders were cool.

Some friends of mine drove up to T-hill to do the zoom-zoom days there on Friday and Saturday. They really had fun on the track. Some of my AFM racing buddies say that's their favorite. I'd really like to ride it, but probably won't until I do an AFM round there in 2007.

Henry, was this with zoom-zoom? I like those guys. They don't come down south to often though.

No Zoom Zoom was on a weekend, that was sold out when I looked, I went with Pacific Track Time. Yeah Zoom Zoom schedule shows mostly norcal tracks. I noticed most of the norcal tracks are expensive. I was looking at Reno-Fernely as my next norcal track to hit up later in the year. I think that track runs around $140.

Oh yeah they also had a AFM new racer school going on with the trackday , didn't notice the students intergrating after lunch. Also another thing I noticed about this trackday, is alot of the riders in all groups, mostly A group, were doing wheelies and endos???? like all over the track. I was suprised , coming in from the hot pits to start a session and the guy in front of me pops a wheelie all the way down right before turn 1. The org was cool with it no black flag. It was cool though no one had a problem with that I guess.

Umm.... $140 is about average. Try going to Fontana at $260 per day.
