Hey all...

I went to Streets of Willow this past weekend and thought I'd let y'all in on some information petaining to your commute up there. If you take the 15 up to 138 west over to 14 north route to Willow Springs Raceway you'll will hit some considerable traffic delays on the 138 due to road construction. The road is down to one lane at a couple of points for a mile or more. Which means they stop traffic on one side and let the other side go. I was sitting stopped for over 15 minutes waiting for our side's turn to go.

If you are gonig up to Willow anytime soon, such as on August 12th, you may want to stick to the I-5 north to the 14 north route. The signs stated that the construction was planned to be ongoing until 9/30/06.

5n - 14E is only 5 miles longer, and suppossed to be 5 minutes shorter. (of course that all depends on traffic)

If you don't have a detour.... 14 north was shut down last Sunday abou 5 miles north of where it splits off of the 5... we were basically screwed any way we wanted to go.
