The concept of this new "liquid kevlar" sounds great for a battle field environment, helps reduce body armor weight and all that other stuff. Remember that kevlar works by greatly increasing the friction for the projectile, hence slowing the bullet before it rips into your body. The probem with making motorcycle safety gear is the friction aspect, which will cause LOTS of heat. the report mentioned the liquid gue is composed partly of glass particles, which will melt, then adhear to your skin. I'll stick to my leathers!
Most motorcycle accidents don't have many puncture problems (sometimes when you get a compound fracture), mostly blunt force trama.
