Kind of a boring race until the end. Poor Colin though, feel really bad for him. Led the whole race then got effed on the last turn. But at least Nicky is dominating the points now

that last corner was weird, there was no contact between them, just both trying to brake the latest. Cann't believe Colin went out like that...

GO NICKY!!!!!!
Looks like he will win the championship unless he makes some major mistakes.

yea, the last couple of laps were exciting. Colin was lucky he fell off the bike or he would've hit that tire wall at high speed. Nicky finally wins a non-US race... though it is not that exciting with so many top riders injured.

Nicky now has a crazy 41 pts lead... I think he might actually win the title!

Oh, and new Assen looks very different than the old one.

Good to see an American in the lead. Just needs to keep it up.

The race was a little boring to watch with so many riders injured, but that last few laps made it worth it. I kinda had a feeling either Hayden or Edwards were going to go down. It really sucks for Colin, but at least it looks like Nicky is getting more comfortable pushing the bike. I can't wait for Laguna!

Gotta respect Colin though, ran hot into the chicane and made it up with 2 or 3 laps to go. It was all or nothing for him.

Same for Nicky who could have easily settled for a comfortable second and a further extension of his points lead but he wanted it all too.

Respect for the Americans nonetheless. Feel more sorry for Hopper.

Yeah, too bad it all had to end in tears for the Tornado. Oh well. It's good to see the OWB represented on the top step, again.

Also sucks Hoppers tires didn't work so well after 5 laps.

there is still half a season left ... i wouldnt count rossi out yet... he is only two wins behind nicky, and nicky has never beat rossi anywhere outside the US... and in laguna rossi was in 2nd! i'm sure this year he will be much faster.

i really wanted colin to win that one, but hayden found some extra speed through the chicanes and managed to catch colin... colin made a big mistake in the end by punching the throttle right in the middle of the grass! he would have been fine if he just cruised on through it.

but hats off to nicky, i would still like to see rossi get back up there and fight for the title.

after you told me the last lap was nutty I was so nervous watching it, just waiting for something to happen between those too!

Rossi still managed to pull in at 8th position

Rossi is incredible. To come from dead last on pole, blow a corner into the turf, and still finish top ten

Ok, I haven't seen anyone notice this, or maybe I'm just that perverted, but luckily the above pics show off what I'm going to mention in good detail.

This was the "A-Style Assen Gran Prix", and has anyone one taken a close look at the "A-Style" logo?

Ok, it's an A with two dots, right?

Now...think about stick figures...:guitar:

OMG!!!! It looks like a couple doing it doggy style!!!! That has to be intentional. There is no way that you can just make a logo like that. I now have to have those stickers on my bike. And probably my car too. This logo will be a great addition to my sig!:roflmao:
