Ok ladies.. thought you might appreciate this one. Most of you know that I work at BuyMoto, which is prettty much the most enjoyable job ever. But occasionally, I get phone calls like the one I received today:

Me: "Thank you for calling BuyMoto, this is Becky"
Him: "Umm.. hi. Service department please."
Me: "Sure, that's me. What can I do for ya?"
Him: "Oh! Well.. uh.." *Long Pause* "So.. do you know what a windscreen is?"

:rifle: Some boys.

Heyo!

Bex, you have helped me regarding tech advice more than once! Screw dudes like that.

Thinking of the ladies though - I pulled up to a lady on a kawi today at lunch - she was obviously wearing nice work clothes - complete with STILLETO HEELS!!! :ha: WTH! Perhaps ladies can create a new category of squids in regards specifically to heels!

Actually, riding in heels works remarkably well because the heel hooks right in behind the footpeg for easy shifting. :squid: :squid: :squid:

Hey Becky! I have much respect for you. You've helped me several times as well. Actually, I'll admit that you know more about m/c's than I do. BTW, I called last week for a new disc lock with a bungee cord or alarm built in and the guy at BuyMoto said none in stock. Any new stock this week? Thanks!

My favorite phone calls are when they ask for one of the guys and then ask whether or not BuyMoto is still open, or what time they close today.

Awwww...you didn't pull the "Please hold" <click> "Service department"? Or put him on hold, have one of the guys answer: "This is the service department" "Yeah, I'm looking for a windscreen" "What's a windscreen? Lemme give you to Becky"

Works really well, until you have to put your foot down... and break an ankle, right before you drop your bike.

i think its the thing that you close on your helmet to keep the bugs out of your teeth.

Bex: i know customer service is of the utmost importance. But if some one sounds like a Sexest Retard again, can you just answer his question with a tougher one. like "do you know torque specifcations in inch pounds for a front sprocket install?" then give them the same pause...

Go together like pees and carrots! There's just something about stilettos and motorcycles that just seems to work, for riding around town anyways. Squidy but quite fashionable....and did I mention the attention you get at every single stoplight/ stop sign/ etc!!!!!!!!!! You get the effect of what it feels like to be Angelina Joli for a moment with all the stares, hoots and hollers:cheers:

Tomato, tomada is still a goshdang TOMATO.........furthermore any fruit of the numerous cultivated varieties of Lycopersicon esculentum, a plant of the nightshade family (Solanaceae); also, the fruit of L. pimpinelli folium, the tiny currant tomato. Tomato plants are generally much branched, spreading 60–180 cm (24–72 inches) and recumbent when fruiting, but a few forms are compact and upright. Leaves are more or less hairy, strongly odorous, …

Is it a tomato plant or a tomada plant? (Often times there's a direct correlation with smell and fruit production.) Martha Stewart has a lovely book on "How to grow tomatos in a 5' by 9' cell" for all your tomato questions you always wondered about, but were too shy to ask.

Don't be upset, Tiffany. I like to read motorcycles mags while I'm on the can, but that's about as crazy as I get. You're still okay in my book, Peeps...or did you mean Peaps?
