A constructive suggestion:
The main "featured" threads that appear down the middle of the HC home page are almost always very outdated.
I know good news isnt always readily available so heres an idea - maybe have just one "featured" thread that sticks around for a week or so (or month) and then simply feautre the top three threads that have the most posts that week.
That would help keep the main HC page fresh with new posts, and also help direct members to the hot threads.
Just a thought!
