I actually just wanted to post the wheelie pic, but thought I'd through the vid in for those that hadn't seen it.

Yea...It's a great video for those that haven't seen it. I saw her out on the track in Fontana back in November and she screams on that 2 stroke. :shocked: At the rate she's going I'm sure she'll be a presence in the AMA.

Yeah, neat vid and neat girl. Hopefully, we should see her in selected AMA rounds once she turns 16. She's very, very determined and she's definitely doing this more for herself than because her dad wants her to. She's kind of a sore loser, though, but she's jut a little kid. And yeah, she does seem to have been "12" for quite a while. I'll ask her how old she is when I see her at Buttonwillow on Sunday for the WERA West round. This'll be her first time ever at that track, but she'll still pwne most people in her classes.

Talked to Elena and Matt (father) Myers Sunday at Buttonwillow. She's still 12, but has been 12 for more than a year, now. Kind of an Earl Hayden trick if you get my drift.

She was down into the 1:57's after just one short day of practice. That's way faster than I've ever gone at BW.

No. On her 125gp bike. Another young'in, Cameron SomethingSomething, did a 1:54 flat on his 125.

I'm old and sucky.

So Elena Myers is here at the SuperBike School for 4 days and let me tell you...She's not 12 anymore. She's 13yrs old and faster than she was before. She ran 19s on her 125 here @ SOW and she was running consistant 23s-24s on an '07 ZX-6R. This was her first time on a 6R...Nice Kid, dad was cool too. Everytime I went to refuel her bike, I was like "Damn....where'd the gas go?"

Damn, I hope she doesn't lap me in vegas this weekend. Technically we will be in different races, but still on the track at the same time. I read that Kawi gave her two 650 ninjas

I think I was cornerworking during those days, but I remember seeing a small, weeny lil girl in a pink and green kawi suit, about 13 years old. she was chasin instructors allllll the time!

She isn't old enough to do ama. But Kawi did give her two ninja 650's for club racing. If, for some reason, this racing stuff doesn't work out for her, she will probably be a journalist. She already writes a colum in RRW.

Yeah, AMA 125 rounds. That's a little different. Don't worry by the time she is 16 I am sure she will be on a Kawasaki SUPPORTED (non factory team) Ninja 600. Kawi is smart to get their claws into her now.
