What's a good deal for a computer monitor? Besides the free on craigslist.... I was looking on craislist for a computer monitor maybe 15-17" and prices range from $20 to $50....so what exactly am I looking for in order to not get ripped off.
Or if any HC peeps have one I can take off their hands, that would be great! Thanks for reading.

I think that for $20-50 bucks all you should be looking for is that it works!!!

HC special on Viewsonic 17" monitor (not a flat screen though) - $10.
I'll be down this weekend if you're interested, J. That'll just pay for the gas to get down there. PM if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer Larry, but I'm already working something out with Richard. I also don't think I need a 21". I'm just looking to get a monitor for an old computer in order to hook up a router for wireless. Picking up a tower from my house in SJ and can't really fly back with the tower AND the monitor, so just looking for something cheap and functional.
Thanks for the HC help!
