I haven't put on my front numberplate and was thinking about putting off to one-side -- like jared's/pulse and aaron's/lost -- instead of down the middle. But I noticed they put the numbers on the left side. I want to put it towards the right side of the bike (it's cleaner :squid: ) -- is that ok or does it have to be one side?
The numbers I have are big enough according to the wsmc rulebook

For WSMC, you must put it on the left side if it is not going to be in the middle (which they prefer). But this does not mean that it will work for all race tracks... depends on which side of the track the tower is at. At Willow Springs International Raceway, the tower is on the left side. If you put your number on the right side, folks will not be able to see your number when you come screaming down the straight.
*THEN AGAIN*.. i dunno if this rule has changed since they are requiring everyone to use the transponders. Hrmm.... but you can't always rely on the transponders to work. Thusly.. put your number plate on the left side.

I wrote this java script that runs a keyword search for "Ducati" on this forum every hour where any negative post including this keyword automatically submits a sarcastic reply. Based on the script's querying capability, cbrsmurf and Treadidas are the highest offenders.

Jeff, most officals usually want the number to be on the tower side incase they need to black flag you or something, they can call the number out to the corner workers.
