Peeps,
I'm going to go on a comfortably-paced ride (read: slower than fast, faster than slow) to Julian. Place to meet is Via de la Valle Chevron station, east of the I-5. We'll take Del Dios Highway to Via Rancho Parkway, then take San Pasqual and Old Julian.
All are welcome. If more people want to go, I can always move the meeting location.
Sorry if it's a bit early -- I wanted to get in and out of the mountains before it gets to be a gazillion degrees.
This is a newbie safe ride. Remember to wear your gear! :nerd:

Holy hell it was roasting out there. After you guys cut out, I went up San Y, through Julian, down Banner, through Borrego, Montezuma's Pass, Fast side and then saw Bill and Mikey @ Mothers. It was around 115 degress at the gas station in Borrego!

Hey Arnold,
It was great to meet up with you and ride all over. Telegraph Canyon and Sunrise are fun roads. My roomate had a great time too.
The temp after lunch made for some good human bake though. It was really rough when you're stuck behind some slow truck going half the speed limit, and there's a sign that says "Twisties: Next 5 miles". :rifle:
And when you lift your visor, the outside air temp sears your face.
Glad you made it back mang! Good ride!

Hey, no big deal. Hmm ... I'm definitely down for some sushi  But I dunno about a ride :errf: I'm pretty burnt from today.
I seriously need a suit with AC ...
I'll be sure to post ride info up earlier. It's been last minute the last couple of rides.
