damn i'm so pissed still from some dumbass this morning. so i wake up after a nap from my morning class and hop on the bike to get to my afternoon class. i get to a light, it's red, so i go between the cars to get up front. just as i get to the front, some dumbass honks his horn and i was like wtf?!?! i really did not appreciate being honked at for doing nothing wrong and it scared the crap outta me for a sec. i hate ignorant drivers to begin with and i was very grouchy since i had just woken up. so i give the guy the finger and this old f*cker fingers me back! so i was like wtf! i yell out to his dumbass that lane splitting is legal. the light turns green and i proceed with traffic and the traffic in my lane was moving slow so i was like ok, i'll give the guy a day to remember. i go slow and wait for him to get up to me, he obviously at this point realizes he was a dumbass and although there were no cars in front of him, he drove real slow. but eventually, he probably figured he couldn't go any slower without causing a problem to traffic and goes really fast past me. so i get right up to him, after seeing his plates (arizona), that got me even more pissed. comes here and decides that what he thinks is the law of arizona also applies here, f*cking idiot. so, i not so nicely said to him "welcome to california you ******. arizona mother******, get the **** outta here and go back to where you came from." (no offence to anyone from arizona) but that just really pissed me off for the day.

and don't get me wrong, this is not something i usually do but i just did not appreciate it today. especially from someone who makes dumbass assumptions. wish i didn't have class. i woulda followed him and gave his car a new look.:grr: :grr: :grr: :hammer: :hammer:

Hey buddy...chill out. Make love, not war. Give peace a chance. In the grand scheme of things, is it really as bad as it seemed at the moment or doesn't it seem ridiculous to be upset over some things you cannot control? You're alive...be happy and look at pix of Bex wearing white leathers with me on another post.

You gotta love those out of state drivers, and by love, I mean 'avoid like the plague'.

Atleast you didn't have to deal with a moron that opened his door just in front of me yesterday on the way home! I still don't believe I avoided it, just lucky there was plenty of room to maneuver around it - barely brushing my arm :silenced:

JUS BECAUSE TRAFFIC IS STOPPED DOESN"T MEAN YOU CAN OPEN YOU FU***** DOOR, cagers:rolleyes:

Just look at 'em and shake your head, call 'em a dumbass inside of your head and roll off when it goes green.
Had a similar incident with an old woman and I chose wrongly to tell her that spliting is legal blah blah blah. I wasn't rude or anything. Well, light goes green, I roll off, she gun's it and tries to force by my right side as we're both moving at the legal speed limit (on Genesee between Clairemont and Balboa). At the next light she does everything possible to force me over. There was a dude in a big ass lifted pick up to my left and a little behind me (I'm guessing a fellow rider) that got pissed at her doing this stuff, he turned his truck right to head into her side door, he stopped 1/2 inch short of her side door, she stopped suddenly, scared outta her mind and he just unloaded a barrage of verbal on her. He waved at me, gave a thumbs up and I took off on a green light leaving the two of them going at it still.
From there on out I decided to keep my thoughts to myself, shake my head and go quickly from any situation. A car, no matter the age or sanity of the driver, is always going to beat a bike in a crunch.

had the same thing happen on coronado. some old guy 2 lanes over started to try to tell me not to split lanes. i acted like i couldnt hear him and he started yelling. but i didnt get too mad because his loose skin started jiggling when ever he opened his mouth and he looked like a puppet...

Yeah, I've had cagers really piss me off. Few months ago... I was getting off Nordahl rd, where there are 12 lanes that turn right, so I'm in the left one.. Well, the lady int he right one makes a right turn with me when the light turned green, but she goes STRAIGHT INTO MY LANE! So, I honk so she doesn't run me over, and SHE FLICKS ME OFF! So, I start riding next to her, yelling, and she won't even look over.

I calm down, decide to forget it, and I take off. Well, I see in my rear view mirror some guy in a 5-series beemer passes the minivan over the dbl-yellow and starts chasing me! I'm like WTF? I kinda toyed with him while he was trying to chase me (on his phone, so I assume he was trying to follow me until the cops showed up?!?), and then just ditch him....

Normally I woulda let the whole thing go but I was having a bad day that day already, and that jsut set me off, so I hear ya...

yeaaahhhh i never yell at drivers... I figure they could easily run me over if they wanted to.

speaking of running over I was almost run over by a big rig today. I was in the lane right of the truck. No blinker when I started to pass (so I wouldnt be riding next to him), but when I was by his front window he decided to come over... still no blinky... I stared at him for a sec while I honked and sped up to avoid a squishing... he never did look in my direction :errf: now THAT would have ruined my morning :)

If someone is yelling something to you, just pretend you can't here them. Just motion for them to speak up and keep doing it. Eventually, they'll stop yelling. ;)

Wow! These are SOME stories! Luckily being a chick...I don't get too much hassle. Just so you know iygnitna....lane splitting is legal in AZ. (I used to live in AZ....no offense taken by the way). That guy was obviously just being an @$$! As most of you have said though....I don't let the cagers piss me off. I never flip anyone off either...I look at it as keeping a good reputation for other riders. Most cagers don't like motorcycles anyways and I just think it makes us look worse when we flare up our tempers, rather than be the bigger person and just let it go. Besides...just remember that your the one who can get through traffic faster! :)

You know, whenever I see a car with the mirror broken off, I wonder which fellow biker they pissed off...

i'm almost to the point of kicking doors and breaking mirrors... but not yet.
but if they arent gonna use their mirrors why do they need them? i make sure i turn my head when im on the bike and in my truck. its NOT hard. as a matter of fact it works better then mirrors.

A while back one of my best friends Dave and I were riding up in Victorville. Same thing, we were riding to get up to the light. Well this punk swearved over toward him. Dave was like WTF and so on. This pissed the guy off more so he swearved over as he began to go nearly hitting him. By this time Dave was absolutly pissed. Dave swung his left foot over the bike, never lifting his right and crashed his helmet right through the guys window. Everyone around must have seen what was going on because they all just honked and cheered. There was more detail to the story but all and all it was great....

i'm almost to the point of kicking doors and breaking mirrors... but not yet.

I saw this happen lane splitting behind another rider heading south on the 15 in morning traffic. Cage cut him off, i saw smoke from his tires, he tried to get them to pull over and they never did. Next thing i see is him giving a heft kick into their passenger door and take off... Couldn't believe my eyes, i mean they could of killed him but its actions like that that give riders a bad name...

If someone almost kills me and doens't apologize and then flicks ME off, I wouldn't feel so bad busting off their mirror.... Chances are their opion of other people in general isn;t that high if they are that inconsiderate. It's bad enough when someone doesn't both to look and see you, but any decent humoan being should give you an apology wave or SOMETHING. If not, well, then no remorse...
