Latey my 05 r6 has been releasing alot of heat around my ankles where my feet sit of the pegs. is it bc the ambient air is hot as well?

i just moved to downtown near the el cortez hotel, anyone live over here?

If it is anything like my 03 that's normal for the most part. I'm guessing you're noticing it mostly when you're stopped at lights. When your fan kicks on it blows heated air back through the engine and the plastics are such that the warm air being blown off your radiator is passing right by your ankles. Just make sure you're not overheating.

Yeah very normal , especial if you riding stoplight to stop light. Its hot out so it gonna get hot. the more your moving the cooler your bike runs. try chucking the coolant for water wetter or equivalent/distilled water. It doesn't snow down here any ways.
