We put in a request to have the room reserved, and they still haven't gotten back to us yet. They're pretty backed up with all the other stuff going on first week two weeks. So if they don't get back to us, the meeting will take place at Round Table Pizza at 7:30p.

This should have been more organized, Joe called me last minute yesterday and asked if i could flyer, so i did. However, i went to muir lots and someone already did that then i went over the other lot near marshall and got some flyers out. But next time I think we should just get people to flyer to certain areas that way we dont over lap and waste time.

We didn't get the room reservation until that day, so that's when the flyers were made. I was the one who covered the muir lots just before you got there Dop, that's why you saw me right before I was running to class. But yeah...we'll be a little bit more better about this later on.

Flyered center campus and gilman...there were quite a few bikes...hopefully they show up and don't just throw the fliers away. I'm gonna post some signs up in gilman on the columns in MC parking

Yeah! Stupid tape cost 4.08! That's crazy when you think about the fact that they only gave us $5 for flyering money. >.<

hey, i just tried to start my bike tonight but it wouldnt start. i tried putting the choke on all the way too, but it still just fails to start. it is a carburated bike and it did just rain a little. is it because its too cold? does anyone know whats wrong with it? is it just that u cant ride older carburated bikes when its really cold?

MotoFuzzle
11-04-2006, 02:05 AM
Let it rest for a bit, turn on the choke, and try starting it again. I dunno if it's bad, but occasionally I have to give it a little push in gear (almost like push-starting it, but just a little push), then hit the starter and it starts up. I've been meaning to have mine looked at. If all else fails, I've occasionally had to push start it. If that doesn't work...maybe you need a new fuel pump.

Anyhoo, if you have questions or wanna start new topics, feel free to start a new thread. Good luck.

MrPlow
11-04-2006, 02:16 AM
what does it mean by push in the gear? sorry i dont understand that term

MotoFuzzle
11-04-2006, 02:43 AM
Sorry, I meant to say, give the bike a little push while it is in 2nd gear (as if you were going to push-start it). Hold in the clutch while sitting on the bike, give a push forward with your feet, drop the clutch. Then hit the starter after doing all of that. I think that feeds a bit of fuel into the cylinders, and makes it easier for the starter to get the bike going. Kinda like priming it.

MrPlow

i just went and tried that. its not working, i think the battery's dead.
