View Full Version : First SDSU meeting EVER!

ok, so today we're (brian and I) are going to be passing out fliers (http://www.box.net/public/2ybf13xxrc) and posting them on bikes and everywhere else we can think of. . Jae, we used the official HC banner, I hope that's cool with you. I'd call everyone who's given me their #, but I'm too lazy, so instead, I'll just post up to solicit help. Who wants to pass out fliers in the next couple days? it'll be waaaay fun. PM me if you want to or call 858.248.3504.
Anyway, the first meeting is going to be thurs oct 12 @ 7pm in aztec center. it'd be great if some HC members could show up too to help out/discuss "things" with people who show up. Jae? I'll need to recruit at least 6 members to make this work. I'll get a few pizzas or something too :cheers: .

i never knew there were so many bikes at state...i ran out of flyer's to pass out...i hope people look into this cuz ink is expensive...wait, i'm using the office's printer...haha! FREE SWAG!

ya, you missed some bikes, but i hooked them up with COLOR fliers. ohhhhhhh so cool. lovin the company ink, lalalala.

It's going to be here (http://www.sdsu.edu/map/display.cgi?new_loc_id=1056). There's usually free street parking behind "P" lot, on the west side of college, and also in front of starbucks on the corner of college and lindo paseo.
Still passing out fliers... with the number of them we're putting out, turnout should be decent. Usually pizza convinces people to hang around a while...maybe rent some umbrella girls too :-p

Nope, nothing going on last minute. i promise :whistle: . Plus i'm getting pizza. Now what could possibly be better than pizza and motorcycles?
With all the fliers we're putting out, there HAS to be a couple of peeps showing up. put on another 20 fliers today on bikes i didnt see before. I definetly didn't know there were so many bikes at this school.
Ok:) Count me there, and maybe +1... I'm going to be riding where should I park that is relatively close to the Starbuck's? I just feel weary of parking it across the street where you can lock your bikes too. I park there during daytime but I don't know how trustworthy it is at night.

I think that in front of Starbucks should be OK. It's a bit dark across the street for a bike to park there unattended :rifle: . If there's no spaces, park near the last space in front of the B of A atm so your rear wheel is in in the green. If you're still worried, PM me and I can arrange something so you can chain your bike with mine on the rail. Free parking is iff-y for cars, since there's limited spaces across from starbucks, but there's plenty of pay :cry: parking right next to that.
Sounds cool, who's down for a late night ride after the meeting:D haha

For those of you that offered to help:
If someone could stop by buymoto and get the HC banner if the ucsd price center is finished with it, that would be really cool, but its definitely not a necessity. Other than that, I think its pretty well covered. I'm getting pizza, got a signup sheet, and have a place to meet. I just need some HC peeps to show up and help talk to people and tell/show what the SDSU HC is about.
It's a little weird that I've only met 5 HC members in person. Of course the buymoto crew, and Brian (Typerr10 - thanks for the help :bowdown: ), and Allan (deathblow), so I could definitely use a little support, which I'm getting a lot of. Thanks all! :nerd:
**EDIT: I forgot to add that there's BOBA above the starbucks, so stop by there before the meeting***

alrite! yeah! finally sign up to Hypercycles ^_^ !!
but yeah the first meeting was cool, got to meet some cool riders!
Bike night was pretty cool, i didnt bring my bike though, i had a truck and coupel for friends.
Well im loooking foring our next meeting or our next ride together!!
