I live on base, so unless you all want to wear those highly fashionable reflector vests, not my place.

I would but my garage is pretty stuffed. Could only fit 2 bikes in at a time and driveway is slanted. Not good for a full blown maintenance day. Otherwise.....

we have a 2 car garage (could be emptied with little trouble) we could volunteer but also have a slanted driveway if thats a factor - if not lets hook it up

we're in mira mizzle btw

not alot of tools in my collection tho - but i do know a few tools from work... mostly - actually they almost all tools

How about next Sun cuz ucsd is having finals starting next week?

In the meantime, let's have a vote on the place:
Mike (Suzukirider) in La Jolla, close to ucsd
Nick (Iceman) in Mira Mesa (don't know where exactly)

if that's ok with you guys.

Mike's place is a one car garage I believe, but he's got mad tools. So i'd vote for Mike's place :)

I've got some mercury stick synchronizers. Not sure I can make it to M-day cuz family's in town. Anybody who needs them is more than welcome to swing by the house and pick 'em up. I have the 5mm adapters which will fit most Honda's and Suzuki's, most Kawi's don't need the adapater. Unfortunately, most Yamaha's need a 6mm adapter which I don't have.

Let me know if ya want 'em. :D

Yes we can host it, I'll actually be working that day but Nick will be here. Was actually thinking of doing it later in the day, say afternoon, around 2, so that everyone can go riding in the morning? What do you think?

I do not know what tools I may require for the proper maintenance of my Motorcycle. I was planning to install brake lines, but I ordered them too late. I might lube the chain. Much past that will all be spontanious.

Is that better?:D

I already bought a whole 525 front, rear sprocket and chain from buymoto, but I was going to put the 520 on until I get the other ones. The other sprockets are on back order for like 2 weeks.

i think i'm going to clean my air filter and carbs. All you need is carb cleaner and compressed air right?

redhead4u

Had my last oil change and service at 3000 on my 250 and now it's at 6100, so need to change the oil and whatever else needs to be done. Did check all the fluids today, added oil and cleaned and lubed the chain. Going to need new tires on the 600 but cant really afford them now.

thanks to Dan, John, Ren, and Mike for stopping by for the maintenance day - not as many peeps showed as we thought but it gave me a good excuse to clean out the garage and put surround sound out there for some tunes (not to mention buy and air compressor and a few roller stools and a crawler, all with the NOS logo so you know they are FAST!)

hope we can be the site for many a maintenance day in the future as long as some more peeps come by hehehe - maybe we need to offer punch and pie?
